Are You Actively Doing Nothing?My wife is a business leader who leads business leaders. She offers classes online and offline, retreats, seminars, and facilitates vendor events to help women entrepreneurs promote their products and services. Her organization is focused on helping these women leaders to "lead with less hustle and more grace." I once heard her say there are approximately 2 two types of women who join up with WRIGG. Those women who are actively doing something and those who are actively doing nothing—her words not mine.
I understand this phrase more than most. There are lots of people who are burning fuel but are not reaching the essential milestones to attain success. It's like being lost but continuing to drive full speed. While using my GPS I'll "leave the planned route." The GPS offers me an opportunity to return to the route on my own or update the route considering my changes. This is what happens to Product Managers who've allowed every wind from customers and market experts to change their product instead of keeping to the strategy forged for success. But it also happens to all of us in our daily lives and that's what we'll focus on in this post.
