If that is how you view your job then I’m sure you’d quit as soon as you make some money with your business. Possibly even to your detriment.
In one of my first small businesses I made about $500 in a pretty good sale. The first thing I thought was, “YES! Now let’s do it again!” not, “YES! Now let’s quit my job!” In this post I’ll lie out this reasoning for you and in doing so you’ll gain a new appreciation for your job, ignite a small flame in you to grab a different position, and maybe you’ll even hustle that much harder to achieve your business goals.
Here’s why I don’t quit my job at the first signs of life in my business:
