Troy gets up every morning and goes for a 30 minute jog. He doesn’t listen to anything during his jog. He found that he doesn’t really retain any information while jogging and instead favors hearing the sounds of early morning nature.
While getting ready for work he reviews the morning traffic and headlines while sipping his morning brew and chewing on a quartered grapefruit and egg white omelet maintaining his goal weight. Afterwards during his commute to a job he loves he listens to audio books on leadership or accomplishing business objectives from any number of success gurus.
At work he creates a task list for the day prior to even starting his PC. Since he gets to the office early he has plenty of time to do so. He gets meetings out the way earlier in the day, handles face-to-face one-on-ones during the early afternoon hours and responds to non-urgent emails prior to heading home at a sensible time. With the salary and bonuses he’s earning even tough days are considered a blessing.
On the way home Troy decompresses while listening to a non-business related audio-book, he likes comedic mysteries.
All of this is so ideal, but it’s easy.
